Laminates:
Surface Guard provides protective masking films for both Low pressure (LPL)
and High pressure (HPL) laminate surfaces. Our products can be machine applied
at the laminate manufacturer/fabricator or hand applied on the finished
product i.e., countertop, desk, etc.
High Pressure Laminate applications: Countertop surfaces,
tables, and furniture.
- Surface Guard has proven 2-3 mil adhesive coated films for glossy,
dull and textured HPL laminate surfaces. Our protective masking films
are designed to be machine applied and remove cleanly over time. Our
masking is engineered to withstand the following processes common in
this industry: Cutting, Drilling & Routing.
- Surface Guard’s products can also be hand applied during fabrication
or installation of the finished product. i.e. Countertops, desks, office
furniture.

Low Pressure Laminate applications: Laminated MDF board applications
simulating wood finishes, decorative patterns.
- With the growing sales of RTA (Ready to Assemble) furniture, the need
to protect the pre-made panels has increased as well. Surface Guard
has the right protective masking film for your application and quite
possibly has one grade for several of your surfaces.
- Surface Guard products are designed to be machine or hand applied and
will not delaminate your paper or vinyl laminate when removed. Our protective
masking films are also engineered to withstand the same processing as
mentioned above for HPL.

Protect your finished furniture with Surface Guard’s protective
masking films. From many types of finished wood, to outdoor furniture,
we have products that will keep your product from being damaged during
shipment.
And here’s an idea, protect chair, table legs or arm rests with
